Tailor-made solutions for shipowners
Choose our “All-Inclusive” solution: Integral EDGE CREW Management. In this framework, we undertake the recruitment of your crew under French ENIM contracts, ensuring compliance with the MLC 2006 and maritime legislation. Serving as the employer, we manage all administrative and logistical aspects of crew operations, including salary payments, social security contributions, as well as providing medical coverage and various insurances.
Full Employer Support
By entrusting your crew to EDGE, you transfer to us the responsibility of the employer. This approach means that we fully take care of the administrative and operational management of your maritime personnel.
This includes coordinating arrivals and departures, processing salaries, settling social charges, as well as enrolling in medical insurance and setting up appropriate insurance policies.

Who can be enlisted by a Maritime Labor Company?
All sailors who meet the following criteria:
- French seafarers, regardless of country of residence
- Foreign seafarers residing in France
Hold valid STCW 2010 certifications, with valid titles and medical fitness.
How to benefit from the services of a Maritime Labor Company?
2 contracts are signed for this 3-way partnership:
- With the Shipowner or the ship management company: the Shipowner Assistance contract.
- With the Seafarer: the French Maritime Employment Contract.
EDGE CREW becomes the employer, handles salary payments, and pays social security contributions to the relevant organizations. EDGE CREW acts as a pledger with the ENIM.
If the flag is foreign, EDGE CREW takes care of the Seafarer’s Detachment to ensure they retain their rights with the ENIM, Employment Office, Family Allowances, etc.
What are the benefits for the Shipowner in using a Maritime Labor Company (MLC)?
By using a Maritime Labor Company (MLC), the Shipowner complies with the Maritime Labor Convention (MLC) 2006 and benefits from the following advantages:

What are the benefits for the Seafarer in being enrolled by a Maritime Labor Company (MLC)?
Thanks to the French maritime employment contract, the Sailor enjoys the following benefits:
- Social security through the ENIM for sailors.
- Contributions to the ENIM Seafarers’ Retirement Fund.
- Entitlement to sickness, accident, maternity, paternity leave benefits, etc.
- Access to Unemployment Benefits through France Travail at the end of the contract.
